how low is too low? (Body Fat)?

heyy…so i’m a dancer and i take a minimum of 13 hours of class a week. Recently i noticed my weight rising, but my body fat was at 11%. But in the last week and a half, i’ve lost 6 lbs. (i was 119, and i’m 5’3″). I’m thrilled about the loss but my scale said that my body fat went down to 9.6%. I was looking online, and i found that women aren’t supposed to go below 12%. I’m a bit worried b/c i’m below that. Also i tend to bruise easily and have an awful immune system. what should i do? a few people i talked to said that i should get myself help because i’ve had weight/self esteem issues before. btw i’m 14

Well if you go by BMI (yours is 21.1), when you go below 18 that is considered to be underweight. But it is not always the perfect thing to go by. Also scale body fat calculators aren’t the most reliable things.
